Mr. James did much of his growing up in L.A., California. It was here he first found his interest in music and theater arts. Recently, he starred as Bob Wallace in a limited run of the newly released musical White Christmas based on the classic film of the same name. Mr. James has been performing nationally and internationally for the past ten years and has over 50 professional theater credits to his name. Some of his favorite roles early on in his career included Stan in the world premier of the Larry O’Keefe (Legally Blonde: The Musical) show Rockne, the Sheik in the L.A. premiere of Side Show at the Colony theater, and Tom Trainer in Struthers Theater production of No No Nanette, as well as many others. Jeremiah was one of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theater Ovation award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his role as Bobby Child in Crazy for You. It was a role he then repeated in several other productions. Later that same year, he earned critical acclaim for playing the role of George Gibb in the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum production of Our Town. Mr. James also spent much of his time in L.A. working on television, film, commercials, and voiceovers for which he did several different spots for such companies as McDonalds, Kia, Visa, Coca Cola, Sega, and many others. During that same time, he also had many small spots on daytime soaps such as Port Charles and General Hospital. Then in 2002, he landed a supporting role in the independent film May Day starring Geoffery Lewis.
In 2003, Jeremiah premiered the brand new Disney musical review The Golden Mickeys which is now performed all over the world. During 2004 and 2005, Mr. James earned critical acclaim around the greater United States for his role as Curly in the Broadway/London’s 1st National Tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s revival of Oklahoma! Of course, most recently he was seen starring as Nick Mathews in the NYC premier of A Kiss From Alexander.

After A Kiss... Jeremiah had begun work on My Way: A Life in Revue (The Frank Sinatra Story) at Gateway Playhouse until he was asked to be a part of the first group for theater land….. Teatro.

The self-titled album is the latest recording venture by Sony/BMG and Jonathan Shalit. With the first album having been released November the 26th and going gold no more than a month later, Teatro has become one of the fastest selling theater groups of all time. The album Teatro has since been released in several different countries around the world. By mid 2008 it had gone Number 1 in the Classical charts, and hit number 6 on the POP charts both in South Africa. Then by the end of 2008 it was on its way to Platinum status in Belgium.
With his fellow members of Teatro Jeremiah had the amazing pleasure to perform in concerts both in England and such countries Egypt, UAE, Romania. They also had the amazing honor to perform on a variety of different television and radio shows all across the UK. Some of his favorites included performing on the Alan Titchmarsh Show 2 different times, This Morning on ITV , The BBC New Years Eve countdown, GMTV this morning along with many others.On Dec 3, 2007 Jeremiah had the unbelievable honor of performing for, and personally meeting, Her Majesty The Queen of England.

Shortly after the success of Teatro, Mr. James was asked to play Billy Bigelow (arguably one of the best roles in musical theater) in the New West End revival of "Carousel" currently at the Savoy theater in London.
